Demilade is an England and Wales qualified solicitor who brings extensive experience from leading international law firms and in-house legal teams, giving her a strong foundation in complex international transactions and disputes.
Most recently, she was the Legal Officer of an Abu Dhabi based renewable energy company, a role which included providing commercial legal guidance, negotiating joint venture agreements with UAE government entities, and managing international commercial contracts. Her recent Middle East experience includes advising on renewable energy projects and emerging technologies in the region.
She also has experience in real estate and debt finance transactions, commercial disputes, white collar and high profile construction and investment treaty arbitrations, regulatory compliance, sanctions and corporate governance, as well as non-contentious construction projects specialising in the FIDIC suite of contracts.
Demilade has worked in London, Paris and Abu Dhabi and she has handled matters across many different jurisdictions ranging from Panama, Mozambique and Oman. She is also an author and has worked as a civil delegate for the UN Human Rights Council.
